Exhibitions
The Dax Centre's exhibition program is a rich resource for the exploration of the interface between art, creativity and psychology. It offers a unique experience that shares stories through artworks to address misconceptions and promote understanding about mental illness and/or trauma.
The annual exhibition program includes onsite and touring exhibitions, professionally curated and with significant contributions from experts in the field of mental health. Drawing from the Cunningham Dax Collection, the exhibitions attract around 12,000 visitors per year.
Once the Dax Centre has relocated to its new home at the University of Melbourne campus in Parkville, it will have several gallery spaces, including a permanant community exhibition.
