The Dax Centre uses engaging and challenging education programs to address the frequently held myths and misconceptions associated with mental illness, allowing teachers to create safe and supportive classroom environments for their students to learn about mental health.

Encompassing psychology, the arts and health and human development, the Centre provides learning outcomes, student learning activities and VCAA aligned assessment tasks based on the life stories of artists who have experienced a mental illness and expressed their experiences through their artworks.
